With the inaguration of Barack Hussein Obama
Jr. as America’s next President, at a time when liberal Democrats now control both Houses of Congress, America has entered a new dimension – the 5th
Dimension.
This is the dawning of the age of Obama,
oops, I mean Aquarius.
Gone is the Era of Capitalism, the Evils of
Bush. The Age of Contention and
Confrontation is finally over.
President Obama will bring a renewed sense of
hope and change to America – and to the world.
Peace will finally sweep the planet.
Old enemies will now sit peaceably at the same table and resolve their
age-old differences without further bloodshed.
President Obama and the liberal Democrats will
break America from her fossil fuels dependency. We’ll now embark on a renewed age of abundant clean green
energies, creating millions of clean, good paying green jobs for everyone.
President Obama and the liberal Democrats will
eliminate the high cost of medical care, making the best medical treatments
available to all.
President Obama and the liberal Democrats will
make a quality education a reality for millions of American children. After all, it’s all for the children.
Yes, President Obama and the liberal Democrats
will finally make Americans healthy, wealthy and wise.
Harmony and understanding, sympathy and trust
abounding. No more falsehoods or
derisions. Golden living dreams of
visions, mystic crystal revelation, and the mind's true liberation. Truly, we are now in the Age of Aquarius.
And if you’re buying any of this, I have a
bridge I can sell you – cheap. Of
course, you’ll need some of that “stimulus package” money to fix it up.
It doesn’t matter if you’re buying any this,
because you’re still paying for it. So
will your children, and your grandchildren.
B.H. Obama said during his campaign that he had
a plan to fix our economy. He repeated
that claim this week. Yet, no one has
seen any such plan. No details, no
specifics. Just hope and flowery
rhetoric. That’s Obamanomics.
He did say we should expect trillion dollar
budget deficits for years to come. In
other words, Obamanomics isn’t going to work, by his own admission.
B.H Obama claims he’s open to any ideas that
will fix our economy. Except any ideas
that have been proven to work, like cutting taxes. Not satisfied with cutting income taxes for those who actually
pay income taxes, B.H. Obama’s “income tax cuts” actually include transfer
payments to people who don’t pay income taxes.
I guess it’s kind of hard to give 95% of people
a tax cut when 48% of people don’t pay income taxes.
Obama is a committed leftist, who thinks massive
government spending is the answer to a struggling economy.
All the government spending/bailouts to date
haven’t turned the economy around. The
Treasury Department can’t even account for the $350 billion it just spent. Doing more of the same isn’t going to work,
either. Every dollar the government
spends takes a dollar and a half from the private sector economy. More government is not the answer.
B.H. Obama said his undisclosed Obamanomic plan will create two and a half million new jobs. No, wait.
It will save three million jobs.
No, wait. It will save or create
three to four million jobs. With
Obamanomics, 80%, no, wait. 90% of
these jobs will be in the private sector.
That means either 10% or 20% of these jobs will be government jobs. He plans to create 300,000 - 800,000 new
government jobs. That’s growing
government, not the private sector.
The only way government can create private
sector jobs is by removing the barriers to job creation, which encourages
entrepreneurs to start new businesses and expand existing businesses. Paradoxically, cutting tax rates actually increases
tax revenues to the government.
It’s worked every time it’s been tried.
If you think Obamanomics is confusing, just wait
until you see the plan Health and Human Services Secretary designate Ton
Daschel has for the government mandated health insurance for everyone.
The Global Warming Faithful will like the fact hat
Obama’s climate czar designee served on the Commission for a
Sustainable World Society, which is run by the Socialist International.
Obama’s Secretary of State designee and her
husband have received at least $492 million in donations in the last decade,
including more than $140 million from at least a dozen foreign governments. They have received at least $1 million from the governments of Australia,
the Dominican Republic, Norway, Oman, Brunei, Taiwan, Qatar and Kuwait. Saudi Arabia gave more than $10 million. The ruling Zayed family of the United Arab
Emirates donated between $1 million and $5 million.
Schools led by B. H. Obama's Secretary of
Education designee failed the No-Child-Left-Behind standard for the last five years.
B.H. Obama’s Attorney General designate was
instrumental in arranging a pardon for the #2 man on the FBI’s most wanted
list, a fugitive who fled the country instead of facing charges of bribery,
racketeering and tax evasion.
And now we have an incoming Treasury Secretary
(the guy who’ll be in charge of the IRS) who doesn’t pay his taxes.
B.H. Obama is obviously into recycling. He’s recycling every liberal career
politician looking for work in Washington.
B.H. Obama has now said he’ll issue an Executive
Order to close the terrorist detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. No word on where the terrorist detainees
will go from there. If they’re tried in
U.S. courts, most of the evidence against them will be ruled as legally
inadmissible. That’s not exactly a comforting
thought when you consider 61 62 of the detainees released from Guantanamo have
gone on to commit further acts of terrorism.
But I guess that’s to be expected when you view
terrorism as a matter of law and order instead of as a war.
This is the dawning of the Age of Obama.
Foolish choices or wise, America gets the
government we deserve.
